Why would they be sad when it has the priest border. Anduin spares the lives of those who deal in darkness.

Such a shame they're stuck with what's essentially the best 3-drop in the game

Yeah, that's... a little crazy. Also highlights how weird 3 drops are in general--whether they pass the vanilla test or lose stats in exchange for their effects seems to be completely arbitrary.

I'd argue that the Harvest Golem is the best 3-drop in the game. But it's all arbitrary, of course.

I would say the Harvest Golem, Shattered Sun and if your Priest the new card along with the Injured Blademaster.

Raging Worgen is great for Warriors of course along with Arcane Golem with rush decks.

I never realized how good the 3 drops are .

The SSC, Priest card and Raging Worgen are all dependant on other cards or abilities in order to function. Just something to keep in mind.

I really like that priest card, feels like it fills a gap and it fits nicely with the health theme priests got.

Though that voidcaller is calling me to make a warlock deck, I never really like demons that cost cards or high amount of health (even if it fits with the Warlock theme) but that card changes the situation a bit.

Tauren Warrior is pretty damn weak for a 3 drop - the stats of a 2 drop and an easily removed taunt. The enrage is damn hard to get off and at most just ends up punishing AOE or your opponent's stupidity.

Arcane Golem has a massive downside. There's a reason it's played most often as a finisher, not a proper 3 drop.

Harvest Golem is great for trading against 1-2 health minions. Otherwise it's just annoying.

Raging Worgen is great if you can actually play it. More often than not it's a very high priority target for your opponent and often swept off the board without pumping its windfury damage.

Dark Cultist is basically a 3-mana version of a yeti plus a deathrattle. Very powerful card, gunna be big for setting early tempo as a priest. I can easily see it positively trading for 2+ turns, with a hefty removal cost as well.

It's not arbitrary, it's contextual!

I think Stampeding Kodo is going to earn a permanent spot in my ranked decks until a good while after Naxx comes out. Specifically to stomp Baron drops the turn after they hit the board.

So I may have made something with some actual potential, a Hand Priest. The video is still uploading but I decided to put the decklist up online and see if it can get anywhere.

http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/64866-shuppzys-hand-priest

There are still a few problems, some me and some the deck but I really like it thus far and am going to keep working on it. Of 20 games around rank 19-14 it has dropped four which is pretty solid but it'll be a while yet before I get to test it in the upper echelons.

There's an entire subforum for this stuff now. Can we use more threads now?

I'd have to say, that is the best class-specific card spoiled so far.

Seems intriguing, some observations:

-2xFaceless Manip is very, very greedy. Now a priest can slow down the game and is good at stalling it out so it can work, but you run the risk of getting two of them and nothing worthwhile to copy. So yeah, play it by ear, if they are dead draws in your hand too often then cut back to only one.

-Leeroy, not sold on him. He doesn't really combo with anything in your deck and a different card could probably do more work. In a priest deck that revolves around hoarding cards Velen+Stuff seems like the best replacement, but what can Velen really buff in this deck? One copy of Mindblast probably doesn't cut it because your draw does not equal that of Handlock. Velen does stick around on the board and is imposing, plus he buffs your hero power and AoE cards... regardless of using Velen or not you should look into alternatives to Leeroy, maybe they work maybe they don't.

-Northshire Cleric, does it really work with no other early game? I mean what will you get to heal other than itself if you happen to be lucky enough to run into a 2/1 or something similar. Does the cleric pay off?

Anyway seems like a very interesting deck and I can't wait to see the vid (also I've been horsing around myself and I might have a deck that would suit your series, I'll PM you with specifics).

It would be very welcome in my Warrior deck over the other weapon around its Mana cost.

Hum. Zelliek has no rarity... So I'm guessing it's an NPC card, unavailable to us?
