![]() Ok, we're going with Warcraft II clans and by Warcraft II Lore (as in strictly by the manual). Some clans have alliances with eachother. A vote for a clan counts as 2 points for the actual clan plus 1 for the clan it's tied closest to. I'm wanting to say Burning Blade is a swing vote as far as allies go.
![]() Leader: Ogrim Doomhammer Ally: Bleeding Hollow Clan ![]() Leader: Gul'Dan Ally: Twilights Hammer ![]() ![]() Leader: Rend and Maim Blackhand Ally: Dragonmaw Clan ![]() Leader: Kilrogg Ally: Blackrock Clan ![]() Leader: Cho'Gal Ally: Stormreaver Clan ![]() Leader: Zuluhed the Whacked (how did he get that name?) Ally: Black Tooth Grin Clan ![]() ![]() Leader: none Ally: None Chaos incorporated. It's allied points count as negative points for all clans, unless someone can sway the Burning Blade voters to declare alliance with their clan. After you've voted for a particular clan, you can put your voice towards rearranging that clans political status. If enough from that clan are in favor, than allegiances can shift. Reason I bring it up, one of my favorite things about warcraft 2 was the political intrigue of the 2nd War Horde. I'm hoping WoD brings some of that back. Lets have some fun. EDIT: Raw Scores Blackrock 5 15.63% Stormreaver 7 21.88% Black Tooth Grin 1 3.13% Bleeding Hollow 11 34.38% Twilight's Hammer 2 6.25% Dragonmaw 1 3.13% Burning Blade 5 15.63% Total Scores So Far Blackrock 5x2=10+11=21-5=16 Stormreaver 7x2=14+2=16-5=11 Black Tooth Grin 1x2=2+1=3-5=-2 Bleeding Hollow 11x2=22+5=27-5=22 Twilights Hammer 2x2=4+7=11-5=6 Dragonmaw 1x2=2+1=3-5=-2 Burning Blade 5x2=10 As it seems, the Bleeding Hollow clan leads the way, bringing the Blackrock clan along for second place. Stormreavers take third place and manage to keep the Twilights hammer barely alive. Despite banding together, both the Dragonmaw and the Black Tooth Grin falter to chaos of the Burning Blade, which takes 4th place. However, should the Burning Blades chaos detract from the total scores, as I've done, or from the raw scores (which would be altogether more devastating). If it is taken from the raw score, should it affect the amount of support a clan can send to it's ally? Another interesting twist we could do would be to implement some of the Clan rivalries, such as Kilroggs rivalry with Cho'gall, perhaps the Blackhand Brothers and Doomhammer, not to mention Gul'dan's emnity with the Warchief. Would that be fun? Any other additional rules that could make this more interesting? __________________ Last edited by Menel'dirion; 12-05-2013 at 06:57 PM.. |

![]() I like you, Menel'dirion.
Anyway, I voted for: ![]() because awesome. It's funny... if you'd asked me in the '90s, I probably would've voted Stormreaver or Twilight's Hammer. |

![]() Voted Blackrock, because honestly they're one of the coolest clans due to their industrialism, size, and military prowess.
If they weren't led by evil idiots they'd be unstoppable.

![]() I'd love to know more Blackrock-Black Tooth Grin lore.
The latter split from the Blackrock just before the orcs passed through the portal. That means it had nothing to do with Orgrim's coup against Blackhand. Therefore, I'd like to know why they were created. My headcanon says that Blackhand always intended one of his sons to rule the Blackrock, and his other son would rule the newly-created Black Tooth Grin. Almost touchingly, he underestimated his sons' loyalty and dedication to each other--who'd have guessed they'd be able to cooperate as co-chieftains? And thus after Orgrim took power, they easily seized control from whatever placeholder was leading the BTG. After all, the clan was already crafted for one of them. It was only natural for it to eventually remerge with the Blackrock. |

![]() I don't remember who posted it, but someone made a joke that the Bleeding Hollow clan was named after a female Orc warrior who was extremely ferocious once a month. Skytotem thus subconsciously voted for the female friendly clan because of his feminist leanings.

The Bleeding Hollow Clan definitely started out as a matriarchy, generations ago. |

![]() Blackrock is a classic and the default player faction, but I'm going have to go with bleeding hollow.
First because of their tenacity, second due to Eye of Kilrogg, and finally due to their clever name meaning. |

![]() Voted Stormreaver, because the scraps of secret knowledge dolled out by Gul'dan are worth more than a thousand Orcish Grunts. Cho'gall, as much as I love him, was still just Gul'dan's apprentice and could only give out limited power compared to Gul'dan.

![]() Would you care to comment on whether you like the reboot Trek or not in the poll thread I created yesterday? I was wondering about what this forum thinks about JJ Abrams. http://www.scrollsoflore.com/forums/...d.php?t=215333 Last edited by CoDimus the Staunch; 12-04-2013 at 03:19 AM.. |

Pleasantly surprised so far. It's cheesy and a few episodes are awful... and then there's Wesley, but overall I enjoy the little touches. Like Worf having Klingon Tea with Dr. Pulaski.

![]() I realized after I voted that I was letting WCII:BtDP influence me a bit. I probably would've voted Blackrock based on WCII:ToD alone.
