If a world-soul of a burned and bisected planet can show up as a raid boss... then a world-soul of a burned and bisected planet can show up as a raid boss. The Legion has done NOTHING to halt the Void. It probably/certainly helped them.

Are you implying that Elune is Azeroth's world soul?

A large part of me think the Argus boss is constructed. I mean, it's incredibly similar to Akulakhan from Morrowind.

Yeah, I think that's an artifical Titan.

Anyway, a theory from a friend:

Quote:
So my full theory for how Legion is gonna end is this: Over the course of our fighting, things get more and more desperate for us. We end up collecting the essences of the various fallen Titans under the direction of Xe'ra to try and empower some kind of final effort to defeat Sargeras. After we get everything ready, Sargeras arrives in full Titan form, and we have to fend off demons while Xe'ra prepares the weapon using the Titan Essences.

To our horror, instead of killing Sargeras, it summons a fully realized Voidlord, who starts destroying whats left of Argus while fighting Sargeras. We fight and have to flee for our lives, boarding the various ships we have. Enemies include the void corrupted individuals who had been with Xe'ra during the summoning. We take them out and flee to Azeroth, watching as the Void Lord wrecks Sargeras and destroys him utterly, Argus quickly following.

We close the portal behind us, only for it to tell us that it is coming nonetheless, and will be upon us soon. Before we can be relieved about escaping, the Naga rise up and the Old Gods strike us, excited about the emmergence of a Void Lord and hoping to corrupt Azeroth before she can awake to truly fight the Void Lord.

Shouldn't he look way more fel if he's the world soul?

How would you explain all that Illidan prophecy thing? If Xe'ra is a void lord then we shouldn't trust anything she says, so... Something might be off about Illidan.

Or most likely not, since Blizzard brought him back for a reason - they are not going to make us kill him again.

Don't get me wrong, i'm in favor of anything that could lead to Xe'ra being killable (Well, we all do), but i doubt there will be a plot twist or something, it's just bad writing.

Instead of going to Argus, Illidan brought Argus to Azeroth.

There is a fleet of Legion ships floating towards Azeroth in Argus' skybox.

He made the Felstorm bigger.

Andiun is the child of shadow and light. Xe'ra isn't lying. She's just wrong.

Freya looks better than Eonar

Um. So? It would make sense for him to be a villain again, but i'm sure it's not happening, since they even retconned his motives (Went from "power hungry" to "sacrifices for the greater good") and etc. I hate to say it but unfortunately this new Illidan is here to stay.

Well, she already looked like that in the artworks:

https://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/wow...x-Eonar_M5.jpg

Also just saying that i disagree. Eonar wins just because of the hairstyle.

Honestly I have to think there's at least one out there in the process of being void corrupted (if not actually awake.) Azeroth being "the last titan" strikes me as the ultimate red herring to keep everyone (and especially Sargeras) from trying too hard to find one elsewhere. The titans themselves knew they'd only scratched the surface of a small corner of the sheer vastness of the universe in their travels, so the idea that the last World-soul they ever found before being killed was coincidentally the last one in existence strikes me as...well, unlikely to say the least.

That said, for the same reasons it seems just plain statistically hard to believe that in all the inconceivably massive reaches of existence, Aman'thul is the only World-soul who ever woke up independently and struck out to find more of his own kind. Hell, from what we've seen the Pantheon doesn't even know why certain worlds have World-souls while others don't. It strikes me as a pretty huge leap for them to have assumed their actions were solely responsible for finding and waking more titans, especially considering that their own leader was a case of the spontaneous cultivation and waking of a titan without need for a Pantheon to intervene.

Four theories I can think of off the top of my head.

1) Argus is the amalgamation of soul fragments born from what's left of the Pantheon's fight against Sargeras. It's not a World Soul, it's a World Ghost, placed inside Argus by Sargeras to help him burn the universe to the ground.

2) Argus is Sargeras' "child". Sargeras cocooned himself inside Argus after his many failures and setbacks, using the planet to recuperate. On his exit, a part of his soul was still left behind, which grew into a pseudo World Soul and exploded out of the planet afterwards.

3) Argus is a World Soul, but a premature one. Sargeras wanted the Eredar to act as surrogates, guardians against potential void corruption as well as leaders of the Burning Crusade. Their inability to control their hunger for Fel magics caused the planet to crack and Argus to be released from his primordial womb too early. If we kill Argus, we enrage Sargeras.

4) Argus is Sargeras. His fel form began to destabilize and deteriorate, doubly so after his wound from Brox and his failed battle with Aegwynn. He used the planet as a way to rebirth himself into a new form.

A fifth potential option, as many have said, is that Argus is a Void Titan, but that implies that Sargeras has been absent from his duties. If that's the case...what could waylay the Lord of the Legion for so long that he hasn't come back to finish the job?

Inb4 we have to build the F I N A L Titan by collecting the soul fragments of the dead pantheon.

We don't build it. We feed it.

Azeroth hungers.

Azeroth tells us via Magni, that we have to collect the stray essences from various timelines. With the help of Chromie we travel through doomed timelines to gather them, but in the process eff up the timelines which is why everybody wants to kill her. Also Azeroth is a Void-Titan.

World of Warcraft: Bamboozled confirmed.

Interesting how they created backgrounds for Argus just like how they do in D3. Wonder if they'll use that tech going into the next expansion.

The eredar female model tail uses the physics engine for animation. Would be cool if they could move that tech to the draenei and tauren.

Question

Is 7.3 supposed to be the final content patch before the next expansion?

MMO-C's got the tier sets up. Thrilled to see that they did end up using that shaman tier concept art. And I've finally found my night elf pally mog:
