Default Have we seen the last of WOD!Gul'Dan

He was cast into the Nether and not just vaporized, it's conceivable we could see him again, maybe he makes it to the main universe as a Demon

So instead of seeing this as a continuation of an era of the 20th century that gave us so much debt and destruction and undermined our liberties and conditions today that are so dangerous, let us think that we are now moving into a new era, a new era where we are going to concentrate on liberty and freedom and property rights and peace. I believe that is the cause that we should lead and I thank you very much for being part of it.~Ron Paul

No body, no kill; that's how it's always worked in fiction.

What are you talking about? We saw Mannoroth's skeleton and he still came back

They should tweak him first, if I am to care about it. So far, I see little to no personal ambitions of godhood from AU Gul'dan, unlike the MU Gul'dan. Otherwise, what measure is another Burning Legion agent? We've got dozens of demons to spend. Hey, remember that Mal'Ganis guy? He also promised to come back, to enact revenge on the Lich King even!

As such, my measure of demonic characters is now "Can they be shifted for Lord Jaraxxus, without affecting the plot and the gameplay in any way?"

At least Jaraxxus was bombastic.

That should be base criteria for any demon, because goddamn was Jaraxxus hilariously awesome.

That's the thing. A Demon Boss in WoW should:

0) BE A LAAARGE HAAAM
1) Boast about demon awesomness.
2) Boast about BURRRRNING LEGION.
3) Use flashy magical INFERNAL abilities.
4) "The chains! NO! YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST OF ME!"

Lord Jaraxxus does this in spades and ended up memetic and recognized. I don't see why would one try to throw Gul'dan, or Mannoroth, or Archimonde under a bus for a role that can be played easily by any hammy demonlord.
