Default Flaws Of Starcraft Lore (SC1, SC2, EU, etc.)

Flaws Of Starcraft Lore (SC1, SC2, EU, etc.)

Because not even StarCraft had perfect writing.

Orb of Venom

Still pretty damn close, frankly.

And a metric fuckton better than SC2.

Should be called 'nitpicks of StarCraft lore'.

Honestly I can enjoy SC lore, it is a hell of a lot better than the piece of stinking **** that Warcraft is now.

If I had to rate them I'd say WC is 2/10 (maaaaybe 3/10) while SC is 8/10

Why did they lighten Kerrigan's skin in SC2?

In SC1 she looked like she had dark skin.

And then she had green skin that looked horrifying and unnatural, rather than chitinous high heels and a pretty face.

I'm not gonna lie, I thought she was black up until SC2 and the changed art.

Frankly, I think she -was- and that they changed her because they were afraid a POC female lead wouldn't sell

Yeah those are really stupid.

"Evolved perfect killing machines..."

And then impractical footwear because how will we sell the game if Kerrigan isn't in heels guys?

She had redhair...

She was definitely not supposed to be black.

But yeah I preferred his SC1 design immensely. The pseudo-sexuality is just kind of pathetic.

Well tbh I prefer NeoKerrigan to the BW one. You can complain all you want about the heels but that one was a hot green chick with weird hair and a skin catsuit. The new one at least has a caparace and veins and ugly stuff like that. Idk if you can even say she's cuter because the old one doesn't look ugly, just...90s graphics.

My fave was the SC1 vanilla one, now that one was ugly. She's the reason I love Masquerade Evelynn so much

She had dreadlocks and dark skin maybe not black but hispanic or something. I doubt ghosts get enough sun for a tan. :\

But yeah we can at least agree heels and such are dumb on her new model.

I never perceived Starcraft's infested Kerrigan to be 'hot.' Her eyes are all fucked up, she's got mucus dripping from her face and her skin's a pallid green. I'm not sure what kind of shit you're into, but that doesn't usually turn me on.

I thought her skin tone was primarily due to the lighting.

I never saw her as being that shadowed but okay...?

I don't know if people have to "sound" ethnic to be ethnic, in some cases you might be able to pin someone's heritage by their voice but not all.

Obviously. But if you can't see a person clearly it can help make the distinction.

I dunno how lighting makes you look brown/tan rather than grey or black. And keeps your hand brown when you reload your gun without changing the lighting on the rest of her face.

It's '90s graphics. But Sarah Kerrigan never struck me as anything other than 'white.'
